One of the challenges faced by everyone in internet marketing is how to continually grow their business. The reality is that one of the best ways to do this is by doing repeat business with existing clients. For many marketers this is more easily said than done. How is it possible to motivate existing clients to make purchases time and again? How can you build a relationship that promises repeat sales to existing clients? How can you build ever-increasing levels of customer trust and loyalty to you and your products?
Once you've gained buyer trust and they are happy with products and services they've purchased, those same buyers are most likely to come back to you. In this article we will review 4 tips to help you power your product funnel development efforts forward.
1. What's the problem? It is absolutely imperative that you clearly know the problems, issues and questions that exist within your chosen market niche. If you are to create in-demand products and services, you must focus on addressing the most compelling issues of your prospective customers. Don't start your product development efforts until you thoroughly understand those issues. The best way to gain that understanding is by corresponding directly with your target audience. This can be done through surveys on your website, or with visits to forums and discussion boards that are frequented by your target customers. Inquire about their biggest problems, issues and questions. Find out where they need help, and the types of products or services that they seek.
2. It's in the list! Never stop; continually focus efforts on list building. Be sure to capture names and email address of those on your opt-in list. Offer free gifts or discounts as an enticement for those who do opt-in. As your list grows you will find that it is extremely easy to develop and grow the lines of communication with your clients. Don't forget to inform them that they should expect to receive information and updates periodically if they are on your list.
3. Become the publisher of your own ezine. Prospective buyers are not inclined to purchase your products and services unless they feel you are knowledgeable and worthy of their trust and respect. One way to demonstrate you are worthy of that stronger tie is by creating and then providing them with newsletters. This is your chance to let your knowledge and expertise shine. Be sure to write about the problems, issues and topics that they are unable to solve themselves. Providing that help and support will be rewarded by the business you see.
4. Become a marketer. As you build faith, loyalty and belief in your expertise from your prospective customers, it's time to begin promoting your product or service. Approach this part of your internet marketing business using a variety of proven marketing strategies. This is the time to highlight your products and what they can do to address those nagging problems, issues and questions that stand before your prospective buyers.
To your product funnel development success!
