Big Ticket Sales - Creating A Big Ticket Product That Sells II

Example of creating a big ticket product that sells:

Sean: You are in travel, and in your travel you sell a network marketing product that has some level of commission to you. What's your average commission if you sell this travel product?

Caller: There's two membership levels. One is $500 and one is $1,000 in commission.

Sean: Ok, so $500 or $1,000 in commission. Now if you were to think about creating a product that ranged in the $5,000 level for somebody else, I'm going to guess that your product would teach others how to build a networking organization that would allow them to make multiple sales of $500 or $1,000 worth of commission over time. Would that be a good assumption?

Caller: Very logical, yeah.

Sean: If someone were to take - and can I make the assumption, Caller, that you've got some level of expertise in terms of a network marketer, understanding how network marketing works?

Caller: Well, I'm rather new to doing it. I understand it pretty well. I'm a long-time business person, but it was brick and mortar so I'm new to the net - not using it, but being a marketer on it.

Sean: And certainly over time you could become more and more experienced in terms of how to make this network marketing thing work. I'm just going to make the assumption that you have something to deliver.

If you were to work with someone, if you were to continue working with your network marketing and let's say you would get to the point where you personally can sell 20 memberships a month at $1,000 in commission, is that a fair assumption that over time you should get to that level in your business?

Caller: Yes, it is.

Sean: Now when you're at that level or higher than that or somewhat lower than that, when you get to that level would you then be able to teach others to do the same thing?

Caller: I certainly would have some advice worth listening to, I believe, yes.

Sean: By that time you'd say, “Hey, this is what I'd do, steps 1, 2, 3, and 4. I'd drive traffic to this site. I had this particular autoresponder. I answered these questions. I get on this telecall and show people how they can make money in travel, " or something - I don't know what your steps are, but there would be some set of steps.
