Google AdWords - Running Profitable Campaign

Not all AdWords campaign are profitable. This is a fact. If you take a look on forums or mailing list, you will find several people complaining about losing money on AdWords. Other people scare to death to use it.

But why there are many people out there running their campaign on AdWords, using same AdWords account with people who failed and they are making money? It means losing or making money is not AdWords fault. They just don't know how to do it properly and the result is they're not making money.

I have to tell you that AdWords isn't traffic method for short-term business. The main reason why people losing money is they try to promote blog, sales letter and any other website directly. Even for some people put their affiliate link on ‘destination URL’. This is what I mean with short-term business model.

When you decide to use AdWords, you have to think how you can sell more than one time to your visitors. Because if you're not sell more than one time, your advertising cost might be equal or a little bit cheaper than your profit. For some case, the advertising cost more expensive than the profit. This is disaster.

Now, let's talk about long-term business model. Sell more than once means you have to build a list of your visitors. So someday if you have a new website or product to be promoted, you don't have to start a campaign again from scratch. Just promote to your list and you will make money. The more list you have, the more money you will make.
