Once they are on your autoresponder, you need to be very careful that you don't scare them off quickly. A lot of marketers make the mistake of blasting out an advertisement to them whenever they first contact them. Although this can be effective, you also lose a lot of business in the long run. Take the first one or two autoresponders to introduce yourself and your product in a casual way. After you continue to contact them with good information regularly, an advertisement on occasion will not be seen as a bad thing.
