Writing an EBook Outline is the Key to Writing EBooks Easily and Effortlessly!

I call my ebook outline my secret weapon because when people use it they get their ebooks written and when they don't they almost always fail!

When you use an outline you can lay out the chapters and the points you want to make in each chapter and see what you have to work with before you start writing. That way you don't waste valuable time going off on tangents that lead to nowhere and create page upon page of content that doesn't really belong in your ebook.

When you don't use an outline it's easy to go down a dead end path that only leaves you more confused. It's difficult trying to organize a lot of content. But if you're just organizing sections, chapter headings and then points, you can do it all in one or two pages so it's easy!
And because it's just a couple of pages you get a snap shot of the entire project.
There's no guessing!

And when you do this, you may even discover that you are trying to cram too much into one ebook and you'd be better of dividing it up into two or more separate ebooks. When that is the case it's so much better to find out in advance than get half way through writing it then realize you've bitten more than you can chew and then having to go back reorganize and possibly start again. It just doesn't make any sense to do it that way!

Instead, I look at my outline like pieces of a puzzle. You want the pieces to fit together so they connect seamlessly.

So create your outline first and don't write a single word until you are absolutely sure that you have everything in the right order. You'll save yourself a lot of time and energy and you'll be much happier with the results!
