Are You Yelling To The Crowds

The majority of marketing newbies think that the louder they “shout" the more people will listen to their message.

Nothing could be further from the truth, online marketing is not about “yelling" to the crowds to visit your website. Yet many newbie marketers visit forums and classified ad sections to post their “scream" to the world.

Do you recognize titles like;

"GET RICH QUICK, VISIT www.somebody' now"

Thats what i mean by “shouting", putting your text in capital letters is called shouting as well as the style in wich you write your ad like the examples i gave above.

Now take a look at 2 other examples;

"New Opportunity Shows YOU What It Really Takes To Build A Business www.somebody'"

"Ever wanted to be a part of something BIG, this is your change, visit www.somebody' and take your Free tour Today!"

You probably noticed two important things;

1- I did not “shout"

2- I did not make claims like “make money for free" etc.

People hate yelling, face it if you would walk in a mall and you where aproached by somebody walking by you that shouted “VISIT MY WEBSITE!!!!!" would you visit that persons website, or would you stay clear of that person, should not be too hard to answer right?

Well, posting your add in a similar way on a forum or classifiedpage is no different. Therefore, when you want to get your message across, do it without shouting at people. You will achieve far better results, trust me.
