Although article marketing is commonly used by many to market their business, there are some specific article marketing secrets that you can use to improve your website traffic and the effectiveness of your articles.
Many people will write an article on a topic that they know something about, put it on one of their web pages as content then consider it a good idea to submit to article directories to provide publicity for their site. But do they understand exactly how the article provides them with this publicity, or have they simply read that such is the case? From many examples I have seen, the latter is true rather than the former.
What you must learn is how your articles work to improve your traffic, and what part the article directories play in this. You must also learn how your article must be written and presented for maximum effect in this respect. Do you know the peculiarities of every article directory you submit to, for example? Are you using article submission software? If so are completely familiar with how it works, and whether or not your articles are being submitted to the better directories that require individual login information?
If you have not provided with submission software with your login details, how can they possibly submit your article. That’s secret number one. Many submission software packages simply submit to the directories that require no login information, and you are missing out on the good sites that have a high page rank that can help your own rankings. Unless you, personally, have to enter your login details for every individual article directory to the submission package or site of your site, then your article cannot be submitted.
