One of the most important things that you need to put on your website is a squeeze page. Of course a squeeze page is a webpage that is designed primarily and only for the opting in of subscribers. Although you can put opt in Web form boxes on any other webpage, if the primary purpose, and the only purpose of the webpage is not to opt in e-mail addresses, then generally your opt in e-mail rate is very very low, in the five to 10% range. With a squeeze page itself, you can get as high as 60 or 70% opt in rate, which is as much as five to 15 times the optin rate than you would get from a Web form on any other webpage.
So now that we have established a squeeze page is extremely important how do you make it, what is important?
I build a squeeze page very much like to build a sales page. I began with a headline, a headline is extremely exciting, and really reels and, lures in the visitor to read my page.
Then I place a list of bullets that tells the visitor of what they are going to learn, or what they are going to get from the free book that I'm going to give them on the squeeze page.
And following up with that I offer a free book. Although one of my squeeze pages still contains a free course, I think, almost all of my squeeze pages gives away a free book. I have found that by giving away a free e-book, rather than subscribing people to a list, or subscribing to membership, or giving away free course, that opt in rates are much higher. And of course opt in rates are what I'm going for in my squeeze, opt in rates are the most important thing that I look for with my squeeze page.
