If you want to get more with less effort, you'll have to track your results. Yes, you will get good results from any proven traffic generation strategy out there. However, you'll only get the most from any if you keep track of your results.
Let's say you submit 80 articles correctly to the top 100 article directories. Without much guesswork, I can predict that you will easily get at least 30,000 visitors within the next thirty days.
However, what I may not tell you is which article directory produced the best results for your time spent. Remember, you'll spend the same time on the average submitting to each site.
What if 10 of those article directories produced twice the page views the other 90 generated? Won't you be better informed as to where to expend your time and resources?
What if you could write 40 more articles for the time you spent on those 90 other article directories? Won't you be in a better position to make a choice that will give you more return on your investment?
What if you found out that a particular type of headline produced more page views? What if you found out that a particular resource box consistently gave you twice the click-throughs you got?
I've just used article marketing to underscore the importance of tracking your results.
Without tracking you'll still get wonderful results if you implement the right traffic strategies. However, you'll be getting far less for the same time and money investment than you would have if you could only find out what was really producing the result.
Don't worry if you don't know so much about tracking. It's not so complicated. Just make sure you get an easy-to-use tracking tool.
