There is wisdom in knowing that people always go where there is massive value for them. It is basic human nature to always ask, “What's in it for me?" If you understand this and work on creating massive value, your traffic campaign will be very successful.
People will only come to your site if they perceive that they will get much value from you. If they do not expect value, they will NOT come. They don't care how beautiful your site is or how much you spent on its graphics unless those hold some value for them.
Whether you are positioning your pages to win the search engine wars or you are using article marketing as your strategy, you'll always need to bear in mind that traffic builds on giving high value.
If you want your pages to be bookmarked and added to social bookmarking sites, you need to deliver very high value to your visitors.
If you want to be ranked high and stay there at search engines, you'll need to deliver high value to your site visitors.
If you want them to memorize your site's url and type it in directly for a repeat visit, er. . . you guess right! Give them high value.
Look at your article marketing campaign. They'll click the link in your resource box a lot more readily to see other stuff you offer if you deliver high value content and promise more value if they make that visit to your site.
Do you want to use pay per clicks or any other traffic generation strategy not mentioned here? Just make sure it builds on “What's in it for them" and you'll surely succeed. Fail in giving value and nothing can save your site from being a traffic disaster.
