Traffic generation, of course, has evolved through the years. When the internet first came out, it was much easier to get someone to convert with junkier traffic. But in the year 2007, where there is a proliferation of content, and where internet speeds are high, you simply have to be more targeted to get the same amount of traffic.
There are a multitude of ways to create traffic to your web site. You can buy traffic, borrow traffic, or create traffic. And article marketing falls under the category of creating traffic. So when you are creating traffic with article marketing, what type of traffic are you creating?
As opposed to traffic that you buy, or even traffic that you borrow (referred traffic), you are creating a one-on-one personal relationship with your traffic. This has an exponential effect on the long-term value of your traffic.
So article marketing produces some of the most targeted leads you can get online, or targeted traffic, if you may.
You see, when you develop traffic via article marketing, you drive highly targeted traffic to your web site, traffic that has already evaluated you and decided that to some degree you ‘click’ with their concepts, with their online drives and desires.
Only the people who are genuinely interested in your topic will clickthrough to your website, almost guaranteeing you a higher quality, more targeted, traffic stream. And that traffic stream is going to be more likely to buy a niche product from you than untargeted traffic or even PPC traffic, at least according to the results of my marketing tests.
