There are two simple ways to do that as far as affiliate marketing is concerned: Get more visitors to your merchant's site and increase the conversion rate. Let me clarify this with an example. . .
Let us assume you are an affiliate to a merchant who gives a commission of $50 for each product you sell. If you refer 1000 people in a month and just 1% buys, you'll get $500. However, if you send 2000 and 5% buys, you'll get $5,000.
If you, therefore, want to increase your affiliate revenue all you have to do is send more people to your merchants and increase your conversion rate.
Everyone wants to do just that. The problem is how it is done.
Take your time to build a site that ranks highly at the search engines and then make sure you make it more likely that yours will be the site that they will click.
Next, start writing and submitting great articles in your niche to article directories. Make sure the links in your resource box lead to pages that presell them well.
This should help you increase your traffic. If your articles are also well written, it will put them in such a frame of mind that is easier to sell.
