This article is about the advantages of using safe lists for internet marketing. A safe list is an email list and the members all agree to receive advertisements from each other. A safe list is sometimes known as an opt in list. It is a means of network marketing.

If you want to draw the attention of thousands of people to your product or service then you should think about using opt-in email safe lists. With either free or paid safe lists you can send an email about your product or service straight to thousands of inboxes. Even if all you get is a one percent response that is still a good start for your online business.

Another advantage of safe lists is that you can use them to test the effectiveness of any proposed advertisement for your product or service. This way you will get some feedback on how well the advert works. If it doesn’t work well then you could have saved yourself a lot of time and money on expensive advertising costs.

Email marketing is a fast and low cost way of marketing your products and so it has a tremendous advantage over offline marketing campaigns. You can also reach a lot more people in a much shorter space of time.

There are different types of email safe lists out there and you may need to do some research before you find the one that is best suited to your needs. This article will look at a few of these lists to see what advantages and disadvantages they may have for online marketers.

Basically there are two types of safe lists. They are free lists and pro lists where you pay a nominal annual fee. With most free lists you get to email once or twice a week. Usually there is no way of tracking whether your emails have been received and there is no opt out facility which means you could end up with hundreds of unwanted emails. With some providers you cannot be sure that other subscribers have seen your ad.

Pro-lists vary and most charge a nominal annual fee of around $10. With these lists you get to email more often and you can usually track your emails. Some of these safe lists also have a feature where you can opt out from receiving all the other ads. There are also pro-lists that pay you a fee for referring other subscribers to the list.

Use several free lists to start off with so that you can see which one gets the best response. Then you could become a paying member. Using safe lists is a good way to start off your advertising campaign – but you will need to use other methods at a later date.
