A few months ago, when I first started writing internet marketing niche articles, I wasn’t too sure that article marketing would pay off, but I had read enough info about it to warrant giving it a try.
Now, with over 270 articles and growing everyday, my consistent traffic and consistent new subscribers has made me a believer.
One thing that I think is important to note is that there is a cumulative effect of writing multiple articles. You see, I am still receiving hits on articles I wrote 3 months ago. So now, everyday, instead of having the incremental effect of the 10 new articles I write, I also get a cumulative effect from writing articles for the last 3 months.
That is critical to understand when you first start writing. I know how it is - everyday you write a few articles, and you get a few clicks. You think, ‘I cannot make a living at this’ and you are right - you cannot make a living from the direct results of the very first articles.
But what you can do is build until you have enough articles on which to make a living.
Let me ask you this. How many subscribers per day and how many subscribers total do you need to make a fulltime income online?
Let us assume that you need 100 new subscribers per day to make $100,000 per year one year from now, and let’s assume that to get to 100 new subscribers per day you need to have 1000 published articles, would it worth it to you to do it?
That is a tall proposition, and I cannot tell you if those numbers would work for you. But I can tell you this, you must stop thinking about the direct results today of today’s efforts, and look at the cumulative effect of your efforts today and what those efforts will mean to you one year from now.
