This year is my parent’s 30th wedding anniversary year which called: Pearls wedding. They are still always quarreled with each other, but we all know that they are very happy.

My sister and I decided to invite families and their friends to spend the day with them together. After we began to prepare the party, we found there are so many thing need to be settle down before the party. We found that it’s very important to make a schedule before we start to settle down everything. Luckily we had lots of time to prepare. Remember the earlier the better to prepare a wedding anniversary.

First of all, the most important thing was to decide the date of party;

Both of us agreed that their wedding day was the perfect day of the party. Next thing need to be preparing at the base of the day;

Then we started to think of the theme of the party. We wanted to make the party memorable for my parents and guests. We tried to recall the scene of others’ wedding anniversary party, what their theme was, and we talked to our parent what they want to find on the party, finally theme was settled down, it called ‘Happy Time’. We showed this theme at the party according photos of my parent’s in daily life we collected.

Next should be finished was to find the Venue for the themed wedding anniversary party. The best choice was the location where my parents got married. So we went to the restaurant. We just had to say we were so lucky that restaurant is still open and the owner was very interesting at our wedding anniversary party, we came to an agreement quickly.

After date, time, theme and location settled down, we began to choose anniversary invitation according the theme of the party. There would be many photos at the party, so we googled photo wedding anniversary invitation to match this, and we found . We choose a photo anniversary invitation and sent some interesting photos to them so that they can change the photo to my parent’s. And the invitation got some compliments as same as my sister and I.

The day before the party day, we went to the restaurant again to talk our menu to the owner again. We choose the same food as my parents’ wedding food-Tarragon Roasted Chicken; we need to confirm everything was fine.

Party was at noon, so my sister and I and helpers came to the restaurant earlier in the morning, we began to decorate the restaurant with the photos we bought. Thanks to the owner, he helped to prepare some beautiful flowers on the table and around the restaurant. We put photos of our parents everywhere, each of them have a note from themselves. The most popular photo was the photo they were quarreling. It was so interesting.

When guest look over the photos and they found that he/she was related to photo, they quickly described the scene together with my parents. It was so amazing time.

The climax of the party I think was the time of dancing. When the dancing music started (as same as the music on my parent’s wedding day), people with their partner danced like what they did on the wedding day. The restaurant was full of laughter.

Everything turned to be fine, my parents, my sister and I were all happy. The wedding anniversary party was successful just like what we thought.
