Tips to personalize your Christmas tree

Trend of having pre-lit pre-decorated artificial tress is growing with each passing year. No doubt, artificial Christmas tree looks great, is easy to manage but in all this, a personalized touch is decreasing. Time were there earlier when families would hours on decorating their Christmas tree which gave a great sensation whenever they used to see it but now when an artificial Christmas tree is ordered there are no feelings attached to it and it doesn’t bring any nostalgia in minds of children when they grew up. They have no stories attached with decorating their Christmas tree. Thus, to give personal attach, decoration of Christmas tree is highly recommended.

You can always gather those decorations for your Christmas tree which your parents or grandparents adored, or can pick up a special thing which would remind them about old times like thing being gifted when you or your brothers were born. When you incorporate all these things into your Christmas tree, it always gives a special feeling.

2. When you decorate your own Christmas tree, it tells enough about your life. Every year you can create such a Christmas tree which would remind everyone about major good things happened in your family in that year. This will make your family proud of us. The memories can range from anything like first photo of your child to first painting he or she made when they were in school or any other special memory.

3. Another way to give a personal touch to Christmas tree is sticking with any theme. You can take anything which interests you as your theme for tree decoration. E. case you are interested in cultural diversity or travel, you can pick something from each place you have visited and decorate it nicely in your Christmas tree. Now, whenever you will see your Christmas tree, your memories will get freshen up every time.

When you are trying to give a personalized touch to Christmas tree, don’t stem your creativity and let it flow freely. Whatever the end result might come up, it will be always great and would attach yours and your family’s feeling with Christmas tree. Always remember that whatever you will do, will get pass on your children and their children. This way they would be dwelling the same habit of giving a personalized touch to Christmas tree, though it would involve some efforts but it would be worth it.
