Fatherhood Days

Visitors: 321

With the growing time and the entry of a completely advanced era, the role of mothers has changed from a simple household lady to a working mother. This has eventually changed the role of fathers as well.

Being a father itself is a blissful experience. All children love their fathers. Fathers play a vital role in the growth and development of their children. The impact of father's behaviour influences both the social and academic growth of the child. The extent to which fathers are involved with their children creates a healthy relation and builds a healthy environment at home.

Children need fathers not only because of financial requirements but for a combination of financial, psychological, social and emotional factors. They are strongly involved in being a protector for their girl child and a role model for their sons.

Whether a girl or a boy, children are influenced by all what their fathers say, do and act. Fathers have a different influence on both their daughters and sons.

Influence of Fathers on their Daughters

  • School going girls show excellent results in academics when their fathers are involved in their teachings.
  • Fathers help their daughters gain elf confidence.
  • Daughters who are involved with their fathers have more sense of humor, more eagerness for learning, more aggressiveness to achieve their father's dreams and longer attention spans.
  • Fathers help their daughters improve their ability to have a good social network.

Influence of Fathers on their Sons

  • Fathers help their son be stronger and physically active.
  • Fathers give good alternative strategies to their sons to solve their own issues.
  • Fathers become the role model for their sons and they often try to be dedicated and hard working and respectful as their fathers.

    Keys for Fatherhood

Here are some of the general keys for good fathers:

Play: Fathers should take out some time to play with their children. Play may include wrestling, fighting with pillow, becoming a horse, or hide and seek. Children just love playing.

Listen: Fathers should learn to listen to their children. After study and play time, they want someone to share their feelings and emotions. Fathers are the best person for them who can listen to their feelings without any interruptions.

Stay Relaxed: Fathers should stay relaxed after work especially when they are with their children. Provide your children with necessary entertainment systems so that they can have a good relaxing time with you.

Fathers should master the art of toddler parenting and involve themselves in toddler activities for better growth and development of their children. Also check out some interesting information on teen parenting guide .
