The Art of Filling a Candy Bowl

Visitors: 310

Candy is a really nice treat to have around for friends and employees. Every office and home should have one little bowl of candy out for everyone to snack off of. It's just a nice way for anyone to take a little break in their own space. As long as everything is kept to moderate use, there isn't a downside either. This is just a lot of tasty goodness for your friends.

The real question is just what candy you should get. Something like M&Ms is a fairly good choice. You can pour a whole bag into a bowl and just let people grab a handful and move on. They also add a nice touch of color to the room thanks to the candy-coated shells. You could also achieve a similar effect with Skittles or Reese's’ pieces, but that's a completely separate discussion. There are also other choices for your M&M candy fillers. There are peanut-filled versions, although you probably want to avoid these in an office setting due to allergy concerns. Some seasonal options also offer specialty mixes with just a few relevant colors. Make sure you get red & green bags for your Christmas party. If you are really smart, you'll pick up these seasonal bags when they are half-priced the week after.

You could go an entirely different route though. Lifesavers candy is another popular choice that offers a nice fruity flavor in a simple shape. It used to be that you couldn't put them out in a big bowl. That was just asking for a stick ball of hard candy. Now you do have that option though. Several bags feature individually wrapped candies. They are just perfect to be put out for guests and friends, and the wrappings are even clear so that they can get what they want. It's just a nice little mix on the usual setup. You have a lot of options when it comes to special lifesavers. They are always coming out with special mixes and blends for entirely different flavors. Their pastel line is fairly popular, and they are making strides in new areas each day. There is a lot of variety available if you want it.

These are just a few of the simple candies that you could choose from for your candy bowl. These two simple candies will give you a great mix of flavor for any breaks you have in the day. It's just a nice little thing to do.
