Don't Panic! It's Around Here Somewhere - Finding Your Remote Control

Visitors: 279

Doesn't it always bother you when you've grown sick and tired of your daily routine and just want to watch a few hours of television when you've found to your chagrin that remote control is missing. It's one of the most annoying but seldom mentioned problems around the house. When the remote control goes missing, it produces a panic than sometimes transcends that of the light bulb needing changing or the washing machine being busted. So one of the most asked questions of the 20th century would be-where on Earth is the remote control?

But usually the answer to that question is much harder than it seems. In reality, the remote control could be anywhere! People have been known to take their remote controls to some of the oddest places in the house. And some of the weirdest places where the remote control is usually discovered are:

- Your pocket: Isn't it annoying when you've searched every room in your house only to find out that the remote control was hiding so conveniently in your pocket? This afflicts a lot of viewers at home, especially those who have been under a lot of stress that they tend to forget certain things. While you're looking you discover that you have an uncomfortable weight at the side of your hips that you just don't want to tamper with because of your intense search for your remote control. Look down there, silently sneak it out of your pocket and pretend nothing happened!

- Your refrigerator: For the hungry, no place is sacred. And when you're VERY hungry you usually forget everything else-even the fact that you put your remote inside the refrigerator when you were greedily extracting slices of cold pizza. It may even be dangerous! Especially when you operate the refrigerator with all the metal parts of the remote inside.

- The trash: It's an honest mistake. Sometimes you just leave stuff in the trash. And one of those items that you may have accidentally thrown into the bin may be your very own remote control. Or maybe your husband or kid may have thrown it in there by accident. Be sure to check quickly before it goes to the point of no return!

There are other places where you may have left that all-important remote control. If you want a few more suggestions as to where it might be hiding, go to: http://crunkish.com/top-ten-places-your-remote-control-is-hiding/
