Choosing South-East Care Homes - Kent Care Homes

When you're looking for a care home, one of the most important factors to consider is the location of any home that you're considering.

The county of Kent, in the South-East of England is known as “the Garden of England", because it has an abundance of beautiful gardens, orchards and vineyards. It also has traditional seaside resorts, areas of ancient woodland, picturesque villages and historic towns, as well as being the home of the world-famous White Cliffs of Dover. With so much to offer, Kent is a great place to live, and there are plenty of residential care and nursing homes to choose from.

Maidstone is Kent's County Town and is known for its historic attractions, such as the Riverside, Archbishop's Palace and the nearby Leeds Castle. It also has excellent shopping centres, a wide range of restaurants and cafes, and parks and gardens to explore.

    Kent Care Homes - Care Homes in Thanet

    The Isle of Thanet is the name given to an area of Kent that includes a 26-mile stretch of coast, the resorts of Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate, and villages like Westgate-on-Sea, Birchington, Minster, Sarre, Acol, St. Nicholas-at-Wade and St. Peter's.

    The Isle of Thanet's care homes include:

  • Eaton Lodge Nursing Home (62 Westgate Bay Avenue, Westgate-on-Sea, Kent) - a 24-bedded residential and nursing home within easy reach of both Westgate-on-Sea's town centre and sea front. The care home organises a range of activities and outings, and focuses on meeting the needs of individual residents.
