Treatment for Infertility.

There are a lot reasons for woman who cannot have a child, such as;

- At-home valuation: A take-home baby valuation can provide a best guess estimate compared with women who have succeeded with in vitro fertilization, based on variables such as maternal age, duration of infertility and number of prior pregnancies.

- Fertility tourism: is the practice of traveling to another city for fertility procedures. It may be regarded as a form of medical tourism. The main reasons for fertility tourism are legal regulation of the sought procedure in the home country, or better price. IVF and donor insemination are major methods involved.

- Medical treatment: Medical treatment treatment of infertility generally involves the use of fertility drugs, medical device or surgery. Some physicians may start by prescribing a course of ovarian stimulating medication or using a

conception cap cervical cap. Other specialists can recommend intrauterine insemination(IUI), in which the doctors introduces semen into the uterus during ovulation, via a catheter. If these treatments fail the physician may suggest in vitro fertilization and related procedures (ICSI, ZIFT, GIFT) which are called assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures. ART methods generally begin with stimulating the ovaries to increase egg production; after stimulation, the doctors surgically takes one or more eggs from the ovary, and puts them with sperm in a clinic setting, with the porpose of producing one or more embryos. Fertilization takes place outside the body, and the fertilized egg is reinserted into the woman's reproductive tract, in a procedure called embryo transfer.

- At-home conception kit: In 2007 the FDA cleared the first at home tier one medical tool to help in conception. This insemination process allows all the sperm to be push up against the cervical ostium for six hours allowing all the semen to be placed right on the external orifice of the uterus. This method will be useful for low sperm count, low sperm motility, or a tilted cervix.

In Vitro Fertilisation

In this process is very important to monitor a woman's ovulatory process, to get to known her natural cycle In Vitro Fertilisation, which allow the doctors to take ovum or ova (egg or eggs) from the woman's ovaries and then letting sperm fertilize them in a fluid medium in a controlled environment. The fertilized egg (zygote) is then transferred to the patient's uterus with the porpose of establishing a successful pregnancy.

The IVF Process, is a major treatment for infertility apply when other techniques of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) have been unsucceful. In this technique an egg is taken and fertilized by sperm outside the body, it is done in vitro.

TIt is important for the mother to be monitored carefully and regularly to make sure they get the best attention at the right time. This monitoring could be done with ultra sound scans and blood tests, to determine a woman’s cycle and hormone levels. This step is very important on the first 2 weeks of each treatment because medications may be altered, dosages modified and new drugs added to the In Vitro process. This may be inconvenient and uncomfortable in the short term, but it is extremely important to determine when the follicles are the right size to be collected. his technique was first done in the 70s, by Robert G Edwards and it has about a 25% of success rate.

It is important that the IVF Clinics maintain and apply strict quality assurance, controls at the centre, especially in theatres and laboratories, and all the equipment should be maintained and subject to regular checks.

In UK, a lot of people look for IVF London Clinics and also go to the Oxford Fertility Unit of ARGC
