Baby Eczema - One More Thing to Feed Your Baby So That Baby Eczema Does Not Get Him

Doctors have been bold enough to put into written print that when it comes to eczema, nutrition is a better healer and preventer than medicine. One of the reasons why they say this is because food can be used to prevent as well as heal the inflammation that causes eczema. Medicine on the other hand is only able to treat the symptoms of inflammation and eczema after they have already caused your baby a certain amount of distress.

When your baby has eczema, you should make sure that he is getting the right type of fat. You probably just had the thought that says but I do not want a fat baby. That is ok; you are not going to make him fat by feeding him fats. What you are going to do is feed him the correct balance of fats so that his body uses the fat to prevent him from becoming sick.

A few years ago it was spoken very loudly that people were eating too much fat, and that the amount of fats that people were eating was too much and that the amount needed to be reduced. So people obeyed, and ate fewer fats. Not very long after this, it was noticed that people were becoming sick in increased numbers. It also became apparent that the cause of the illnesses was connected to the shortage of fats in the diet.

Since then, people have been using fats again, and good health has returned. During these events it was discovered that it is the type of fats that are consumed that have the ability to heal or to hinder progress.

Omega-3 fats are the fats that you want your babies’ body to have in large numbers. They are the healthy fats, and they are used by your baby to balance the negative effects of omega-6 fats that are able to produce inflammation that can lead to a number of illnesses. Omega-3 is found in fish oil supplements. These fats are good for your baby. Make sure that he gets enough of them.
