Best Baby Pillow

Nowadays, there are so many different types of baby pillows out there. All of them has a unique function, and there are some that you will be glad that you have! There are pillows for all different things, including nursing, sleeping, and riding in the car.

I think the bassinette pillows on the market today are great. They positioning the baby so that they are flat on their back, which is the recommended sleep position. However, there are new versions of these types of pillows that I like even better. The new version of this pillow has memory foam which will mold to the shape of baby's head, making it mold to the pillow This will prevent a flat spot from forming on the back of baby's head. This pillow will also help baby to have a peaceful night of sleep because they will not be able to roll around. . . they are positioned in one way all night.

An additional type of baby pillow that is on the market today is known as a nursing pillow. These pillows are crescent shaping and come in handy for all sorts of things. . . not just nursing. While they are a great convenience to the nursing mom, they can also be great for supporting baby and looking at books, feeding with a bottle, or even for extra support when a sibling is holding them. These pillows are great for many things, and every mom should have one, whether they are nursing or not.

Care pillows prop baby's head while going on a car trip. They are great for the baby to lean their head on for extra support, especially because they will most likely fall asleep. I really like them because they keep baby's head away from the hard plastic on the car seat. Many car seats include some type of pillow, but I like to pick out my own. The ones included with the seat just are not quite as cushy as one that you can pick out yourself.

Baby pillows have so many convenient uses. They can be used for many tasks, from support when feeding to riding in the car. Some of them are a bit pricy, but they are worth every penny, especially if you buy them for your first baby and use them several times thereafter.
