One of the ultimate achievements for most people is to be able to retire early and enjoy life while they still have some spunk left in their bodies. If you are one that is contemplating early retirement you may be interested to know that less than 5% of the people in the US can afford to retire early. This article will look at some activities you could consider in your early retirement living.

Why Not Tickle Te Keys

If you are going to retire early you should think about the extra time you will have to progress your learning. One of the muscles that we forget to exercise is our memory. One of the best ways to keep your fingers limber and your brain fresh would be to learn to play the piano. The piano has so much depth and meaning. The fingering required will keep your hands healthy and in shape not to mention your mind sharp.

A Different Sport Is A Challenge

Most people who go into early retirement head to the golf course or tennis court. A better sport might be found at the racquetball court or maybe you could try water polo. These are sports that are for the young at heart and you must make sure your doctors say you are healthy enough to take on a sport like this. You can always play golf, but think of sports that will really challenge your body if your health allows.

Gold Is Plentiful

Gold panning and treasure hunting has grown in popularity over the past several years. If you are going to take on early retirement you may want to try a new adventure like gold panning or metal detecting for hidden treasures. You can get a tremendous amount of exercise and make some extra money in the process.

These are just a few early retirement ideas to consider. You can find lots of valuable information on early retirement by searching online. Good luck in your quest and get out and have some fun.
