ADD A LEVEL-
BERGEN COUNTY NEW JERSEY
As a New Jersey Remodeling Contractor serving Bergen County NJ, we specialize in NJ Home Additions. Ranch Add A Levels are one of our top selling home remodeling packages.
Why have Ranch Add A Levels otherwise commonly called Raised Levels become so popular. That answer is simple. You can add an entire new floor above your home gaining in most cases double the amount of square footage. This type of NJ Home Remodeling project can be completed all within 3 months time.
By removing the existing roof, we can set up an entirely new floor plan for your family doubling the homes layout. The idea is to move the existing 1st floor bedrooms to the new upper level. This enables you to remove and open some existing 1st floor walls. Usually by removing 2-3 walls on the 1st floor, we can open the floor plan wide open for a larger living room, dining and kitchen area.
Don’t forget the staircase. A ranch is a home that has all the rooms situated on the original 1st floor. The basement many times is unfinished. A new staircase needs to be configured for the new level’s access. With our ranch add a level packages we will configure a new staircase leading from the 1st to the 2nd floor. Ultimately we will put the new staircase around the front door area. If your existing basement staircase if off and located at another side of the home, we can close that staircase up and insert the new basement staircase with the new 2nd level access staircase. Remember that if we do remove the original basement staircase area, you will now gain that area as additional floospace.
Since ranch homes tend to be at least 1200 square feet or larger without an attached garage, you can usually fit 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms without having to build above your garage. Building above your garage offers the opportunity to expand your new upper level even further. You can never have enough square foot floor space. The extra floor space allows you to add an optional laundry, larger closets or even a 2 level entry foyer.
