Let us look at just what disadvantages are associated with using Malibu Solar Lights. Once you have a clearer picture of what disadvantages there are, maybe then you can decide if these solar lights are a good sound choice to light your path.

The first and most significant disadvantage to using Malibu Solar Lights is their initial cost. Although these lights themselves are not that terribly expensive, their remote panels that are used to store the suns energy for later use are very expensive.

The second disadvantage of this type of light is that Malibu Solar Lights are only as dependable as Mother Nature. On sunless or overcast days, these lights do not operate at their full potential because the suns rays did not reach their collector enough to supply the Malibu Solar Light with ample energy to operate the lights well.

The last disadvantage is that these Malibu Solar Lights are easily damaged by falling objects or wind. With the cost of the light units, the fact that they are not extremely durable is definitely a deterrent.

In conclusion, it does not matter if you are talking lights or jewelry, every item has its strong points and weaknesses. The secret is to weigh the differences and the pros and cons of using the item before you actually purchase them.
