If a home is taken as a body then the kitchen would be its heart. In other words, cooking area is the powerhouse of a home. Homeowners who are aware of this fact protect their cooking areas from germs and bacteria with kitchen tiles. You may ask why cooking area needs protection when it can be cleaned regularly. This area needs protection from moisture and spills. You may have noticed that your wife inadvertently spill minor food particles on the floor when cutting or chopping vegetables, fruits and meat. You can't prevent minor food pieces from spilling on the ground but you can protect the floor from the harmful effects of spills.

Minor food particles and moisture, if allowed to set on the floor, can make the floor a perfect breeding ground for germs and bacteria. Concrete and wood are not suitable for use on kitchen floor because they leave much space for food and moisture to set. On the other hand, kitchen tiles can prevent these elements from setting on their surface. These pieces are highly resilient towards moisture, dust, grime and spills. Additionally a tiled floor is easy to clean than concrete or wood surface. You can wash the slabs to get a sparkling clean surface.

Cooking area should be a clean and hygiene place because it is the place where raw food is stored. You can't allow ants and rodents to thrive on the raw food you have stored for use in future. Ants and mosquitoes make their nest in moist areas. You can make your cooking area free from these tiny creatures by renovating it with germ free kitchen tiles. Use these slabs on the floor, backsplash and other walls. With these slabs, you can give your kitchen a uniform look and a unique theme. If you are thinking that kitchen renovation would be an expensive project then you need to change your thinking.
