When you engage in feng shui, you automatically create transitions from one state of affairs to another. In my life, transition often comes with a bit of chaos.
Use the following tips to counter the chaos when you are in the midst of any transition, whether it's bringing on a new employee, re-decorating your treatment rooms or moving your entire office.
Clarify Your Intention. Many transitions are planned so make sure you are clear about what you want the outcome of your transition to be. Write it down. If you are in the middle of an unplanned transition, you can still think about your desired outcome and write that down.
Bring in the Earth Element. The earth element is a symbol of stability. People feel more grounded when the earth element is present in a space. Symbols of earth include earth tones, square shaped items, heavy items, ceramic, brick, or clay. The grounding energy of earth will assist you in staying clam in the midst of big changes.
Create a Focal Point. Dedicate some space and create a focal point (something like an altar) for your intention. For example, you could place a small square (squares represent earth) decorative box on your desk and place your written intention in the box. You could also use shelf on your bookcase to create your focal point. You might place a ceramic plate on the shelf and then place your written intention on top of the plate. Items that already have a positive meaning to you are excellent to use.
De-Clutter What else would I say? You will be able to focus more powerfully on the important aspects of your transition if you do not have lots of unfinished projects or delayed decisions competing for your attention.
