Success in network marketing has nothing to do with “getting in at the top" or in the latest “prelaunch". Successful marketers have one thing in common, they have worked for it.
I get annoyed at ads which claim you can make a lot of money from “spillover" or even worse are ones that claim they will do the work for you, all you have to do is sign up.
I have never heard of a six figure income earner who got that way by any other method than doing the work themselves. Of course, it's important to have the training and mentoring when starting out, but it's not the job of the sponsor or upline to build someone else's business. Even if that was the case, it would be robbing the individual of the personal satisfaction of knowing what they accomplished by their own efforts.
Some marketers start earning significant income in a matter of months and others need a few years. Everyone is different as to the skills that they bring into the business, the personal connections they may already have etc. Some will build a large business mostly with people they already know, and others have to find other methods to build instead.
So those who are able to build a large organization quite quickly may have it easier than others, but they still need to build one person at a time, just like everyone else.
It's important to make the commitment to stay with your business and understand it may not build as fast as you would like, but as long as you continue to talk to new people daily, and train new distributors you bring into the business, you will eventually reap the rewards. It's not easy but it's definitely worth it. People that go to college or university understand they need their education first before they can find a good job. That is not unlike network marketing.
