"How can I have a scam free work from home business with all the work at home scams that are out there?" That's a very common and legitimate question. . . Here's how to spot the top ten home business scams. . .

Home business Scam #1 - Earn Millions while you sleep. . . . If it actually happens , then where all the millionaires? And why are they spending hours blasting their ad all over the internet, if they are making millions while they are sleeping. I would be out playing if I was in those shoes.

Scam #2 - Get in NOW or you will miss out - many people have gotten in NOW to get into a so-called locked-in position and then never made a dime.

Scam #3 - Join our company today and we will put your first two people under you. . those two will get their two people and then those turn into 4 and before you know it, your downline is built and you will be making thousands. . . Creates a welfare mentality and will never work.

Motivation and determination are a must in creating a true scam free work from home business. Hand outs are not going to get you anywhere.

Scam #4 - Get started for free, you will never pay a dime to get started in OUR business. . . wrong. There will be something to pay - somewhere. If it is a deal where all you have to do is fill out several surveys to get ‘in’ then you will have to pay bigtime in headache fees till you get all the free trial offers taken care of before your credit card gets charged and some of them will not let you get credited unless they make some sort of charge to your card first. . . .

Scam #5 - Data Entry - make $10 - $15 per transaction - Scam. Run. All you do with these offers is send in your small fee to get the ‘instructions', which are simply details on how YOU can start placing those same ads that YOU just responded to so that others can now send in the money so that THEY can get get the details on how to place those same ads, etc, etc.

Scam #6 - Stuffing Envelopes Scam - exactly that. Very similar to the data entry scam.

Scam #7 - Medical Billing. . you will pay $300-$900 for everything (supposedly) you need to start your own medical billing service at home. You're promised state-of-the-art medical billing software, as well as a list of potential clients in your area.

What they do not tell you is that most medical clinics process their own bills, or outsource the processing to firms, not individuals. Your software may not meet their specifications, and often the lists of “potential clients" are outdated or just plain wrong.

So you try to get a refund (they promised you could, right?) from the medical billing company. It's like trying to get blood from a turnip.

Scam #8 - Typing at Home . . You are a fast typist, have several hours a day that you could type for some business. . . it works just like #5 and #6. . . . you respond to an ad that is promising you that you can make several hundred a day, by simply typing ads. . . . This should probably be closer to the top of the top ten home business scams list!

These types of scams fall under a variety of categories. . . Why? Because there are thousand of people that are looking for that kind of work at home job. Many of them are searching for the very first time and have no idea what all is out there, and fall for these scams.

Scam #9 - We will PAY for you to get started with us in business - wrong. They are paying your way OUT of business, once they have got you suckered in far enough to get some of your money first.

Scam #10 - No credit card? No problem, the company has one. . . Watch out for this one! There are companies that will allow you to put thousands on a credit account that their company will provide for you even if your credit is shot in all other areas.

Usually the interest rate is over twenty percent and the ONLY thing they will allow you to charge is THEIR products or services. . . You get started in business with them, buying their products with a credit card that they provide and paying them an additional 20% over and above what they are already ripping you off for.

What is really sad is that the people that fall prey to these work at home scams are primarily the disabled, the elderly, the unemployed, parents, and people without a lot of money.

In order to get started in a scam free work from home opportunity, we will need to be motivated individuals , willing to roll up our sleeves and work for it, just as any business person in the ‘real’ world.

Just one of the many advantages of being a work at home mom is being able to make as much money as we want to, spend as much time with our business as we want to - have fun when we want to - and just plain live life the way we want to!

I guess I need to write an article about the top ten home business benefits here real soon, as the benefits of being a work from home mom are so many!
