5 Easy Tips To Improve Your Online Results

Are you making as much as you hoped you would with your online business? Or are you making as little as you feared? Or perhaps it is something in between? Whatever the case, most people would like to make more money. If you are like most people and would like to make more money, check out the tips below and give yourself a raise.

First, do an analysis of your business. Where are you falling short? Are you getting enough traffic to develop sales? For this calculation, remember that the average sales page converts about 1% of the visitors into buyers. If you are bringing in 30 visitors a week, you need to increase your marketing efforts. In that case:

1. If you are using articles to generate traffic, how many articles are you writing each week? Writing twice as many will double the amount of traffic. Writing three times as many articles will triple your traffic.

2. Diversify your marketing campaigns. You are best serving by using more than one technique to generate traffic. Use some combination of the following: articles, paid ads, free ads, classified ads, solo ads, pay per click, email marketing, forums, and joint ventures. Make sure that you use more than one of these techniques. Also, it is very important to track your results. That way, you can determine with methods are working the best.

If, on the other hand, you are getting plenty of traffic, but making few sales, the fault probably lies in your sales copy. In that case:

3. Read your sales copy with a critical eye. Are you using plenty of benefits, or is it filled with features? Is it compelling? Does it make you want to make a purchase? Visit the large forums and ask people to review your site and tell you what they think. You will usually get some very good advice using this technique.

4. Would your conversion numbers improve with the addition of several bonuses? This is something that you can try without spending too much money.

5. If possible, investigate using the services of a good copywriter. This may be just the thing you need to see a first rate sales page. The investment may be well worth the cost.
