In this article I'm going to talk about ways to treat you Candida. If your suffer from a yeast infection a few times per year, I understand how frustrating it can be. The itching, burning, soreness, and all the other nasty symptoms start to effect your work, leisure, and other aspects of your life. Understand that there are ways to lose the symptoms of your yeast infection and even lose it for good (described on the bottom section).

Yogurt
Eat more yogurt. It contains Lactobacillus acidophilus which produces hydrogen peroxide (this is what's responsible for killing your yeast). You can either eat it more of it or apply it topically. Either way, its a great treatment for the symptoms of your yeast infection.

Lactobacillus acidophilus Supplements
There are Lactobacillus acidophilus supplements that you can take which are also very effective. You can find these at your local pharmacy. Use the directions that are included in the bottle.

Douche
Douching with certain solutions are another option you can take. Take a quart of water and mix it with 2 tablespoons of vinegar. Many have used this solution and have said it works wonders. Douche with this mix daily until your symptoms go away.

Important Points To Note:
Although the treatments described above can be great ways to treat candida, there is one point that's vital for you to understand. Most treatments (including the ones describe above as well as most creams and medication) only treat the external effects of Candida, not its root cause. This is the reason so many women deal with this infection multiple times in a span of a year. To lose your yeast infection for good, you have to internally treat the cause of it. There are programs that offer natural ways to treat the root cause of your infection. Its the most realistic way to lose your Candida for the long run.

What the heck is the root source of a yeast infection then? Most contemporary treatments don't treat this source and the human body doesn't have the ability to treat it.
