Idiot Proof Fat Loss

The Idiot Proof Fat Loss diet is gaining widespread popularity and joining the ranks of the other “mainstream" diet plans available to the general public today. By withholding and reintroducing certain nutrients into and out of your diet at certain intervals, you can simulate a nutritional deficit in your system that triggers your metabolism to compensate for its perceived starvation and begin tapping into your body's fat reserves to lose weight.

This is somewhat analogous to the Atkins Diet's principle that your body begins to tap into your body's fat reserves due to the lack of carbohydrates in your system, even though you can eat meat and pure proteins to your fill. The difference is that, unlike the Atkins Diet, in which you are depriving yourself entirely of a vital nutrient, you can achieve rapid weight loss on a calorie shifting diet, without any deprivation whatsoever. You are eating plentiful carbohydrates and proteins, fibers, and pretty much everything else. You are merely controlling when you introduce these into your body.

While on the Idiot Proof Fat Loss diet, you can expect to lose 9 pounds in 11 days. What is the significance of the number 11? Well, nutritionists agree that rapid weight loss for long periods of time is unsafe. Therefore, this diet takes nutritional safety into account and requires you to take a mandatory 3-day “cheat break" from the diet every 2 weeks. Therefore, in every 14-day period, you are dieting for 11 days and then taking a 3-day break. This 3-day break gives your body a chance to stabilize, recover, and rest from the rapid weight loss you will have been experiencing. During these 3 days, you should plan to eat sensibly, so as not to gain any weight back. After the 3 days is over, you are free to resume the diet for another 11-day cycle. You can think of these 3 days as an opportunity to practice eating as if you were trying to maintain your weight.
