In this article I am going to share with you the most effective way to loose weight if what you like to do most is walk for you exercise routine.

Walking is an approach most middle aged and older aged people take to solving their weight loss dilemma, and it can be extremely effective if you have a proper nutrition and workout regime working in congruence with one another.

Because walking ultimately takes longer to burn fat, it is vitally important that you have a healthy diet, especially if you don't even walk that often. I would recommend you designate at least 30 minutes out of your day to power walking, which means walking at a faster pace than normal. Another thing that would assist you in your power walking exercise is if you walked with little free weights, but don't try to over do it, go with a weight amount that fits you. You shouldn't feel like your carrying two tons when you're walking.

A place a lot of people like to power walk is in the mall, especially if you are a mother or a father that has to tend to their children. You can get the most out of your mall power walking experience if you go in the morning an hour before the actual mall opens. A lot of people don't know that you are actually allowed to walk around in the mall a hour before it opens. The doors are open, so go for it.

The mall is also a great venue to go walking if the weather outside isn't all that suitable. Now that you know of the power of the mall, there should be no excuses for you not to do your daily exercise routine. ; )

Furthermore, as I said, diet is especially important especially when all you are planning to do is walk. Make sure you're eating wholesome foods, and stay away from the ice cream, pizza, fast-food, and fried foods. Also, make sure you are getting plenty of water every single day. In fact, this should really be the only liquid you consume. Everything else is unnecessary, but if you happen to make your way over to Starbucks while you're in the mall as I do at times, go with a black coffee, and maybe some nuts.

I hope you find your new walking experience enjoyable.

Good Luck
