An itchy scalp is a fairly common problem and can manifest itself in various ways, dandruff being the most common of these.
Now, there are many itchy scalp remedies available on the market but these tend to be synthetically produced, causing untold damage to the environment, not to mention what it can do to your own skin.
You see many of these products contain industrial strength chemicals which, although they can kill off the fungus which may be causing your itchy scalp, they can also cause more damage to the health of your skin.
It's like when the doctor prescribes you antibiotics - they kill off the bad bacteria but also the good. In the case of antibiotics they are often necessary, but in many cases an itchy scalp can be remedied without the need to resort to the strong stuff. You can't fight fire with fire, you have to fight fire with water.
For instance, did you know that Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLS) and Propylene Glycol are commonly found in almost 90% of shampoos on the market? In case you didn't know, SLS is a harsh foaming, degreasing detergent used in engine degreasers, car wash products, washing up liquid and. . . toothpaste! Propylene Glycol is derived from petroleum products, and is commonly used in antifreeze, de-icers, latex, paint and laundry detergent. It can cause irritation of the nasal and respiratory passages and if ingested, can cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
So, if you're sick and tired of what the big pharmaceutical companies are putting in the products that you and I buy, then you should try the itchy scalp remedy below as well as those on my website.

- Boil 6 cups of water and slowly add 10 and a half tablespoons of rolled oats
