One of the main fatty acid of olive oil, oleic acid, fights against CRP like markers of inflammation.

Prevent Cardiac Disease and Strokes

Stroke is caused when bleeding or blood clotting causes irregular blood flow to the brain. Studies have shown that olive oil has properties that reduce the risk of having a stroke or any cardiac related diseases. It also prevents the cholesterol from oxidizing in blood that prevents cardiac arrests. It also improves blood vessel lining function and lowers blood pressure.

Olive oil does not cause additional weight gain or obesity

Although it is generally associated with fats that they cause obesity but olive oil is found to have no such effect on human body. Many studies, especially in the Mediterranean, have been conducted and it was devised that heavy intake of olive oil is not responsible for any observational weight gain or obesity.

Many studies have been conducted to find the relation of olive oil with the disease and it is found that olive oil help remove the beta amyloid plaques from the brain cells, which is the main reason of Alzheimer. It also increases the brain function by several times.
