Pancreatitis is a condition that causes severe inflammation of the pancreas. 1. Eat small portions

You should eat small portions and often, so as not to elevate your symptoms. Products to be avoided in the Pancreatitis diet include caffeine, tobacco, spicy foods, eggs, butter, cheese, fried foods, bacon, pizza, beer, beans, and other general gas-forming foods, which could cause inflammation of the pancreas.

2. Low-Fat Foods

If you have chronic pancreatitis should eat a low-fat diet, since fat in the blood is a factor. These days that are variety of low-fat foods. Some of the include fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains and lean meats. Spinach, blueberries and red grapes are food rich source of B vitamins and antioxidants that have been found to be effective in fighting pancreatitis.

In any case, avoid red meats as they are high in fat, as well as sausage, bacon and other high-fat meats. Turkey, chicken, fish and pork are some low-fat alternatives.

3. Avoid Most Dairy Products
