This group includes the disciplines that are related to the fitness and health and also the substitute medicines that are intended to provide treatment to ailments and cure sicknesses and help in the maintenance of a healthy lifestyle.

Usually a person who carries out a particular healing art is known as a healer and is recognized in the society and holds a legal license which makes him/her eligible to service the clients. Many a time's legal restrictions of carrying out a certain art might exist owing to the site and the particular society. Some of the more common ones have been briefly explained in the following paragraphs.

The Homeopathic science popularly known as homeopathy is on top in the list of healing arts. As opposed to the medical science that believes that the symptoms of a specific disease are the resultant of the breaking of the organisms, it believes that they are the resultant of the resistance of the body for combating the respective ailment. Several researches have been performed; with some focusing on its positive effects while some focus on its drawbacks.

An art known as the chiropractic is known for targeting the spine and its related problems via physical healing. It is said to correct the body functions and the spine problems through certain points in the body.

A similar art is that off osteopathy. It lays emphasis on the function of the muscular skeleton on the overall health and the ailments faced by the body. In several states its usage is employed as that of a substitute technique which gives weight to the oral and bodily medications.

Acupuncture initially evolved in china and involves the insertion of needles in certain points of the body for treatment of various diseases. The whole process is known as the acupuncture therapy.

Sarfaraz was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, surrounded by traffic and technology. He writes mostly about diseases, the storybooks, futuristic columns, mysteries, as he likes to call it. He enjoys writing for web.

He wrote his first book (The Black Bodyguard of Stone-Pyramid) in 2003 and since then has provided the picture for 1 more title. His book was honored as a BEST SELLER.

Sarfaraz currently lives with his wife in Karachi near Seashore, about fifteen miles from the house where he was born.
