There are many people looking online for cheap elliptical trainers. After all, we all know that ellipticals are one of the best all-round pieces of fitness equipment. But the price of them can sometimes be a little scary.

If you are willing to hunt around d there are some ways of getting a cheap elliptical machine but you should ask your self the question. It will definitely help if you have access to the Internet but you can also check out things in your local town. You can initially use the Net to get a good idea of the selling prices of the various models before you start looking for a bargain. This is an essential first step, because prices vary widely.

A good place to start looking for cheap elliptical trainers is on eBay. There are always a range of people looking to sell their old equipment. Some of these will be people that have just given up on the idea of getting fit and want to sell their machine. Other sellers are companies that are either cutting out the middleman and going direct to the public or they are getting rid of excess stock.

You can also try supermarkets. Surprisingly you can pick up an elliptical at the same time that you get your groceries. Sometimes they are only available in store at certain times of the year so you may need to shop online. Wal-mart in the USA and Tesco in the UK stock ellipticals. These are often end of lines that have been bought at a good price so you are not able to walk in and ask for a particular model.

Another way to get a cheap elliptical is to keep an eye on the local free newspapers and notice boards that are in your local town. Also check out the online free ads such as Craigslist and Gumtree. The good thing about buying from a local person is that you can go and check out the elliptical before you spend your money.
