Spectacle Frames – how to choose the best for our face shape?

Visitors: 614

There are so many different types of spectacle frames. The choice in some optics is huge. Everywhere you look there is a big variety of spectacle frames. They are different in their colors, ornaments and forms. You should choose the most appropriate for your face. This happens when you try on many models. The prices of the spectacle frames are also different. If you choose frames made of some famous brand, they will be much more expensive for sure. However, there are many frames that will look good on you - it is not necessary to buy expensive ones in order to look good with them.

There was a time when spectacle frames were divided into male and female. Today’s frames are not just a fashion accessory but a necessity, and you can observe a unisex fashion course not only in clothing and footwear but in spectacle frames also. That’s why designers are constantly striving to create models that will be liked both by men and women. Unisex frames are neutral, but they are distinguished by bold design and decorative elements that put some border between the sexes. Here are top 5 trends that will always be in vogue:

  1. Plastic frames in oval and prolonged rectangular shapes.
  2. Without a frame or with half-frame styles with marked oval form.
  3. Retro glasses in the style of John Lennon, the emphasis may fall on the colored glass. Very often they are colored in light brown, blue or yellow.
  4. New, interesting forms, such as abrupt change in line, square frames or frames in “bow tie of a butterfly” style.
  5. Beautiful design, clean and thin frame, made of metals such as steel which is stainless and titanium and in various unisex shapes and sizes.

Some of the designers who create accessories for famous fashion houses work only in this direction - in creating new and more interesting models unisex glasses. It is interesting to mention that in this category we also put frames, specially designed for computer work, driving, certain sports and even some crafts and hobbies. If you practice some of these activities, ask your optician for advice when choosing glasses that will improve your effectiveness and facilitate your work.

According to a survey made recently, the most important reasons to buy special glasses, include special activity - work, hobbies, sports and computer work; the need to see better; safety precautions in sports as well as protection from dust and light, flying small particles; cosmetic reasons, especially for those who wear them in order to look different and more attractive.

No matter if you want to wear glasses because you want to look different or because you need to wear glasses, you should always choose the best ones for you, with the best frames (brillestel in Danish). Just go to the best optician (the Danish term is optikere ) and make your choice.
