Aloe Vera Gel & Its Beauty Uses

If you have ever sliced an Aloe Vera plant leaf you must have seen a gel like substance filled in that leaf. This Aloe Vera gel has a very potent beauty restoring and maintains qualities. This mucilage like thick and gluey substance helps in storing water for this plant that grows in arid regions. This colorless gel has glycoprotein and polysaccharide that consist of nutrients, enzymes, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. It has been found that Aloe Vera gel is greatly beneficial for skin, hair as well as overall health. The various beauty enhancing qualities that this gel contains can be understood by being aware of its beauty benefits.

The magical rejuvenating power of the gel can be experienced when using Aloe Vera gel as a night moisturizer. You can make a night moisturizer by mixing a teaspoon of Aloe Vera gel and three drops of almond oil for glowing soft skin. Similarly, for making clarifying face wash you need to take small amount of Aloe Vera gel, a teaspoon of honey, half teaspoon of baking soda and massage it on the face after wetting it with tepid watering in circles and then rinse off with cold water. By mix a table spoon of Aloe Vera gel, a teaspoon paste of green papaya you can make an excellent Aloe Vera fairness gel. You need to massage this gel on your wet face for minimum six minutes and then wiping it off. The Aloe Vera fairness gel brings back the glowing skin without any harm caused by the chemical fairness creams.

Additionally, Aloe Vera gel helps in lightening the stretch marks that are formed by the rapid stretching of the skin leading to tearing do the dermal and epidermal skin layers. It is on the fatty areas of our body like thighs, hips, lower back, belly, upper arms, and breasts where the stretch marks typically take place. You can easily help yourself by using a smooth mixture of Aloe Vera and papaya and applying on the affected spots of stretch marks and leave for at least ten minutes. The vital vitamins, enzymes and antioxidants in this mixture helps in repairing the damaged skin layers and cells and improve the elasticity and decrease the stretch marks.

Aloe Vera can also be used as a dark spot or pigmentation remover. All you need to do is to nicely mix the gel from Aloe Vera with a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and applying it to those troublesome spots and areas regularly for at least two weeks. Moreover, a mixture of a teaspoon of Aloe Vera gel, one teaspoon of pure ghee, with one teaspoon of honey massaged on the lips every night helps in nourishing the lips by softening and ringing that pinkish color.
