Aside from the treatment fine lines and facial wrinkles, microdermabrasion is fast becoming a popular treatment for acne as well. Its market is currently on the rise, along with that of acne laser treatments.

Eighty percent of teenagers will experience the outbreak of facial acne. Further, more than seventy-five percent of them will get long-term acne which can lead to scars. Adults can also get them, too. In fact, about twenty percent of them will.

Microdermabrasion is a skin treatment that gets rid of skin blemishes by removing the top layer of the skin to reveal the healthier and younger cells underneath it. This is typically done in a clinic and performed by an experienced aesthetician. This was once specifically used to get rid of dull skin appearances but because it is able to reach the epidermis, it can also be effective in getting rid of finer acne scars.

The act of removing the outer layer of the dermis is done by the power of crystals that are made of aluminum oxide. With the use of a microdermabrasion machine, the crystals are able to generate pressure that will leave the skin free from pimple marks which will, it turn, reduce the amount of acne breakouts in the future.

The thing that makes microdermabrasion a good treatment approach is that it is reliable and very easy to perform. There might be risks but they are all very minimal and are greatly outweighed by the benefits. Aside from removing scars and sun damaged skin, this treatment can also improve your skin appearance and help stimulate collagen production. It can maximize skin thickness and improve its look, giving your skin that youthful glow.

Another great feature of this treatment is that is provides a virtually painless recovery. In fact, after the first appointment, the patient should already be able to see significant improvements in the overall look and feel of their skin. There might be some variances with the treatment depending on a specific patient condition but it generally provides the same results after the treatment is completed.

Microdermabrasion is also relatively inexpensive compared to most acne scar treatments, coupled with a high success rate. This makes it a good alternative for someone who would want to enjoy beautiful skin without breaking the bank.

As a whole, microdermabrasion can give anyone younger and healthier skin. Its ability to get rid of acne scars can be enjoyed by both the young and old, with a few exceptions, of course. However, just like all the other treatments, it carries a number of minimal side effects that are worth noting. Because this treatment involves the removal of skin cells, some patients might experience discoloration, itchiness, burning sensations, and redness a few hours after the therapy.

When trying to get rid of acne scarring , the best acne treatment plan in Nevada is often delivered by a skin spa that performs microdermabrassion in Sun Valley NV or uses intense pulse light treatments for Carson City clients and patients. Any acne scar removal with microdermabrassion will carry with it miner irritation of the treated area but the recovery time is often no more than a few hours.
