Whether we like it or not, we live in a society that judges us based our outward appearance. Luckily, there are steps we all can take to look better. So whether your goal is better hair, better skin, better makeup, or just an overall better appearance, including the eyes, this article is here to help!

The eyeshadow you use should depend on your eye color. By picking the wrong color, your eyes will not stand out. For example, those with blue and green eyes should pick shades that are warm in color such as light purples, brown, and gray. Women with brown eyes should wear darker shades, like dark greens and blues.

The simplest and absolute cheapest way to reduce morning eye puffiness is using wet cotton balls that you have put in the refrigerator! Simply soak the cotton balls under a running faucet, or use bottled water if your tap contains a lot of chlorine, pop them in a plastic bag and store them in the fridge. Come morning when your eyes are half closed and puffy, those cold cotton balls will work instant magic!

To get eyes that sparkle, use eye drops during the day. This will also prevent any dryness and irritation from happening. Eye drops are excellent if you use a computer for long periods of time, as it will help to relieve any eye tiredness. Just keep a bottle in your purse or your desk and use it every 4 hours.

Take the time to tint your eyebrows. This can be done with a simple eye and brow pencil every time that you apply your makeup, or you can go to a salon and have them tinted with a permanent dye. It will bring definition to your face and your eyes and make you look more youthful and awake.

To highlight your eyes and make them look larger and more awake, use a shimmery, pale shade of vanilla or light gold just under your brow bone. You can sweep it down to cover your entire lid for a natural look, or sweep it on after applying your other eye colors to frame your eyes.

Make the most of your eyelashes so they frame your eyes perfectly. If you have short lashes, try false lashes, extensions or try and grow them using an eyelash grower serum.

In today's society, much of how we are treated depends on what we look like. The fact is that what we look like is important, whether we agree with it or not, and the good news is that there are things we can do to enhance our overall physical appearance. It is said that the eyes are the window to the soul, so just apply some of the tips found here and your soul will be beautiful!
