The Womanly Wonders are suppose to be wonderful, right? Being a woman has many wonderful qualities and benefits. However, some days you would rather be a bird and fly away. Knowing your own body and how it works will help you to get through some of your Womanly Wonders along with the help of your physician.

Some of the Womanly Wonders, such as peri-menopause and menopause, present some symptoms that can put you into a tail spin. Symptoms such as night sweats, depression, disturbed sleep are all common for these Womanly Wonders. These symptoms which can occur on a daily basis could and will cause fatigue, forgetfulness, aches and pains, headaches, moodiness and decreased sex libido. When you are not sleeping at least 6 to 8 hours a night, everything seems a little dimmer or maybe “black" and your energy level is very low for everything else that is expected of you at home, in your relationships and intimacy and work.

Speaking to your physician, primarily your gynecologist, to discuss possible holistic alternatives or medications that can help you to transition through these Womanly Wonders with sanity and vitality will allow you to be as productive as you want to be in the many different areas of your life. Definitely receiving adequate sleep can help to improve depression although some may still need the help of medication as well due to the fluctuations in your hormone levels.

Some of the best ways to get through your Womanly wonders as mentioned above is to make sure on a daily basis you: take care of you and provide time for yourself everyday for a least a few minutes, eat from the five food groups in the recommended calories and portions, perform physical activity every day for at least 20-30 minutes and stay on target with your annual exams. Invest in Yourself every day for You, Your Health and Your Wealth and help your Womanly Wonders.
