Bloating a serious problem let me tell you. True that your might want to get rid of bloating because your friends or family are getting irritated by it. But do you know that bloating itself is no laughing matter. Bloating is the indication of an uncontrolled diet, and it means you are suffering from the more serious problem of indigestion, which is a very important reason why you should learn to get rid of bloating fast. Bloating of stomach is caused mainly due to irregular food habits. These food habits produce gas at a higher than normal rate. Distension of abdomen, which is mainly due to Irritable Bowel syndrome (IBS), an intestinal disorder of unknown cause, produces gas which in turn causes bloating. Would you like to get rid of bloating once and for all? This article is divided into two parts. In the first part, I will tell you of the foods which cause stomach bloating. In the next part, I will tell you of the remedies.

Pre-Menstrual tension (in females): In females, bloating generally occurs most during the pre-menstrual cycle. The symptoms of bloating are: swelling of the body, and tightening of legs and hands. It is important to note that hormones play an important role in balancing the fluid levels in the body.

Food habits: If you want to get rid of bloating, you should first of all change your food habits. Do not ever consume food in haste. If the food is taken in haste, the pressure on the stomach increases and production of gasses also begins to increase, resulting in stomach bloating.

Buffalo's milk: If you consume buffalo's milk, here is an important fact to note. Buffalo's milk lacks an enzyme called lactose. Deficiency of lactose leads to bloating of abdomen. The action of lactose is to break the sugar present in the milk. 1 OZ (28ml) of undigested milk produces 1 gallon of gas. Bottom-line is: if you want to get rid of bloating, try to avoid buffalo's milk at all costs.

Wheat: It is impossible for you to get rid of bloating if you consume too much wheat-products every day. A protein called ‘GLUTEN’ present wheat and bread produces burning sensation and leads to production of excess gas, resulting in bloating.

Other causes: To get rid of bloating fast, you should also minimize the use of antibiotics, sweets and salt. Antibiotics are notorious for causing excessive stomach bloating because they destroy the harmless bacteria normally present in the digestive tract(this bacteria helps you digest food). So if you need to take antibiotics at all, be sure to take B-Complex vitamins with it. Oral contraceptive pills also cause distension of the abdomen. Sweets and fat foods are one of the main causes of stomach disorder. Try to put a stop on them if you can. Do not consume excessive salt. Take only what you need. Excessive salt intake in the form of fast processed foods also causes stomach bloating.

Now you know what you should do to avoid stomach bloating.
