When looking for help with a problem/issue you need to decide on what kind of help you want.

Over the last 26 years I have written many papers, articles and training programs on the benefits of hypnosis and holistic healing. This article has been written to offer you some insight into a new and different perspective for creating change in your life.

Traditional methods for change are focused around years of “talking it through", “coping with it", or having support to “tough it out". Hypnotherapy is different. We, as a society, have been indoctrinated to believe and therefore, expect a change of habits, behaviors or emotions takes a long time. Thus, it's difficult to conceive that change can be done quickly. Therefore, hypnosis is considered a last resort alternative. There are some behaviorists, psychologists and psychiatrists who want to keep it that way. Why, because if they can convince you that behavior change takes a long time, you are immediately conditioned to give them a long-term source of income.
