Blackjack Card Counting

Visitors: 212

Card counting is a basic strategy that can be very useful in blackjack, or as some call it, Pontoon. This includes simple mathematics or summation of small values, such as +1, 0 and -1. It is also necessary to look carefully in all the cards that are drawn to everyone at the table, including the dealer. Unfortunately, blackjack card counting requires an ability to play with expertise that needs a lot of focus and practice before you can use it effectively.

Knowing the technique of counting cards will assist you in tracking the combination of cards left in the deck. It will also give you an idea of the value of the dealer’s second card, which is face down until all bets have been placed. It is an advantage to the player if most of the high cards are left in the deck. In this way, you can win over the dealer by increasing your bets at the right time and win LOTS of money.

We have to remember the fact that when we start playing, we usually begin at a disadvantage. This is how casinos play and make money in the first place. All we need to know is how we can change the initial advantage of the house. The edge that card counting can offer you are not very big but it can become significant when successive bets are placed over a long period of time. However, your small advantage will be easily gone by poor play and bad decisions.

Card counting has been around for a long period of time and despite the fact that it is considered illegal by casinos, it is not. What is illegal is the use of electronic or other counting devices. Most casinos have the right to ban players, with or without cause and card counting is frequently the reason for this. Card counting mentally is legal and not considered as cheating so players must be very cautious not to catch the attention of the house when you are counting. But who can sense that you are using it if all you need to do is observe the cards and compute silently right? Also, be alert and focused while counting cards. Casinos really like players who are using it poorly because they always end up broke. You don’t want that to happen to you, right?

Now that you know what blackjack card counting is; you can follow the link on how you can actually do card counting and win lots of money in Blackjack.
