The World of Warcraft is not just filled with creatures that are frightening and have to be killed. In the latest expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, not all the creatures are aligned with the goals of evil. There are some creatures that are downright pleasant looking, and dare I say it, even cute. These creatures not only look pleasing to the eye, they are also on the side of good. One example of such creatures are the Tuskarr. They are creatures that you would encounter in the expansion that you just can't resist to love and assist. Below are some important information about these amiable and proud creatures.
The Tuskarr are, simply put, humanoid walruses. Their bodies are big and blubbery and their skin is brown. They have huge tusks growing from their upper mouths. On these tusks are sigils or symbols that reflect that Tuskarr's affiliation. These creatures also wear padded clothing to protect themselves from the cold. They have Indian looking armbands, too.
This race is a peaceful, nomadic one. Although they live in the harshest of environments, this did not seem to affect their disposition. They only engage in fights when absolutely necessary. To strangers and travelers, they are friendly and open. Just by looking at their expressions, you will know that they are not dangerous. However, to their enemies, they can be fierce and unforgiving. They are very loyal and protective to their families and villages and would do anything to protect them.
Although the Tuskarr is a nomadic race and settlements and villages can spring up almost anywhere, they do have a main settlement and they always prefer to be by the sea, since fishing is their way of life. The main settlement of this race is called Kaskala and it is located in the Borean Tundra. Some of the race's members can be found in Dragonblight and the Howling Fjord, too.
Role in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion:
In the expansion, the race is being attacked by several foes, which includes the forces of the Scourge, the Drakkari ice trolls, and the nerubians. Once the Horde arrives in the Borean Tundra, the Walrus people welcome them like kin. The Horde players will be tasked to assist the Tuskarr in their fight against their enemies, while the race lends its support to the bigger goal, which is to bring down the Scourge and the Lich King. To this end, they have made a faction and became one of the four factions of the Warsong Offensive. This means that they would also play a vital wrong in bringing down the Lich King in his frozen throne. Watch out for it!
Do you want to always be one step ahead of everyone else in Wrath of the Lich King, and not be left behind?
