With all the hype surrounding the soon to be released World of Warcraft expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, it's no surprise gamers all over the world are trying to find out as much as they can about the game. Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the expansion would improve on the successes of The Burning Crusade. Better and more exciting gameplays, new environments to explore, and most importantly, new characters to play and meet are all part of the menu of this new expansion. What has caught the imaginations of many, though, is the announcement that Dark Knights would make an appearance as a Hero Class in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. If you're as thrilled about this as I am, then you should know how starting a death knight goes. This way, once you have the expansion in your hands, you'll know what to do to get your Death Knight.
There are several things to remember when starting a death knight. They are the following:
Players must unlock the Death Knight Hero Class to play the character. To do this, the player must already have any character whose levels are 55 and above.
Players are only allowed (for the meantime) to have one Death Knight in each realm and in each account. Blizzard Entertainment has announced that this restriction may be loosened in the future.
Death Knights are available for all races. Once a Death Knight is created, the player must accomplish a chain of quests that would teach him how to harness the Death Knight's power.
Upon creation, Death Knights will already have uncommon armor or gear and a set of spells and skills ready to be used.
The Death Knights, once created, also come with a set of weapons and other gadgets, such as Two Handed Swords and First Aid.
The Nercopolis in the Plaguelands in the East will be the spawning area of the Death Knights. They will start in an area called Acherus: The Ebon Hold. In this area, players will find specific quests and trainers for the class.
Once players have completed all the quests, their Dark Knights can then travel to other places. At the same time, gear options will also become available, such as a choice a choice between Greataxe or Greatsword of the Ebon Blade.
Starting a death knight sounds easy, doesn't it? Of course, we can expect that Blizzard Entertainment has some surprises up its sleeve and I know from experience that nothing in WoW is as simple and easy as it looks. Hopefully, though, the Death Knight Hero Class, and the whole Wrath of the Lich King expansion itself will truly live up to the buzz and hype that is surrounding it. Let's just all cross our fingers for now!
Do you want to always be one step ahead of everyone else in Wrath of the Lich King, and not be left behind?
