In WOW's Wrath of the Lich King, if you're greatly concerned on how you could gain a certain reputation especially if you wanted to explore the Northrend continent and areas then you must have certain knowledge on the system known as the “Championing".
How the system does Work?
This system is operating with the use of a certain Tabard that is made available when the character gains it in a specific faction having a following friendly reputation. It is available in the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. When the player gets to wear that so called Tabard, the character could benefit with champion buff in that said faction. In connection with this, reputation is gained by a player when he gets to slash off to death any opponent in the level 80 dungeon. This benefit is in spite of of the native reputation of such dungeon.
Minimum requirement to gain something from the faction is that you must reach first level 80 before you could explore the system. If you could not meet the requirement, you will have nothing in return. Not all factions are allowed to have this system on their group. It only means that there are only limited factions who could enjoy this reward or the championing system. The factions that were allowed are believed to have a neutral position in the Northrend continent. To have a glimpse of this faction groups, they are as follows:
1. Kirin Tor - You gain the reward in this faction if the character could wear the Tabard of Kirin Tor. The champion is then granted along with the power to buff.
2. Knights of the Ebon Blade - Players should wear the tabard of the Ebon blade for him to be calles as the Ebon champion and be granted with the reward of buffing.
3. The Argent Crusade - The character must get to wear the Tabard of the Argent Crusade for him to have the buff and be known as Argent Champion.
4. The Wyrmest Accord - the tabard in this faction must be worn by the character for him to have the title of Wyrmest title and be able to use the buff.
Championing is only exclusive to those included in the neutral factions. On the other hand, that character that gets to murder more opponents on the heroic dungeons gets to have more reputation rewards than those players who play the battle in dungeons under normal mode.
